Active in the library bookbinding since 1969, at les Reliures Caron & Létourneau Ltée, our personnel has always endeavoured to evolve with and even foresee its customers’ needs by offering them quality, durable products which will meet their expectations.
Our beginning was modest: the first shop, located in Labelle, covered only 165 m2 (1800 sq/ft) of surface and included five employees. To answer our customers’ ever increasing needs over the years, our installations have grown in four stages, increasing our working space to more than 1120 m2 (12 000 sq/ft). We also do business with new customers who joined us after we acquired the clientele from other bookbinding companies. Our personnel consists of nearly 50 employees and our equipment has expanded, has been updated and wherever possible, is computerized.
Our clients include public administrations, university, college and public libraries, grade schools, high schools, hospitals, law firms, government agencies and bookshops.
Whether the job is preserving or repairing used volumes, rebinding new volumes to give them the durability needed in a busy library environment, binding magazine or journal issues into volumes or suggesting solutions to problems inherent in modern documentation, our personnel is there to help.
We are based in Québec but also serve customers in Ontario, the Maritimes, and some overseas countries.
